Five Mile Point Light
New Haven, Connecticut

Built in 1847, the Five Mile Point Light is located at the harbor entrance of the Long Island sound.  It replaced a 30 foot wooden tower that was built in 1805.  It is currently listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
